Xenical è un medicinale utilizzato per trattare l'obesità. Agisce sul sistema digerente bloccando la digestione del 30 % circa dei grassi ingeriti durante il pasto. Xenical agisce sugli enzimi dell'apparato digerente (lipasi) e blocca la loro azione su alcuni dei grassi assunti durante il pasto.
Quando prendere Xenical?
La dose abituale di Xenical è di una capsula da 120 mg da prendere con ciascuno dei tre pasti principali giornalieri. La capsula può essere assunta immediatamente prima, durante il pasto o fino ad un'ora dopo il pasto. La capsula deve essere deglutita con acqua.
Quando prendere Orlistat?

What is the maximum daily dosage for Xenical?
- Single doses of 800 mg XENICAL and multiple doses of up to 400 mg three times a day for 15 days have been studied in normal weight and obese subjects without significant adverse findings. Should a significant overdose of XENICAL occur, it is recommended that the patient be observed for 24 hours.
What are the contraindications for Xenical?
- XENICAL is contraindicated in: 1 Pregnancy [see Use in Specific Populations]. 2 Patients with chronic malabsorption syndrome. 3 Patients with cholestasis. 4 Patients with known hypersensitivity to XENICAL or to any component of this product.
