Quando è possibile vedere l'aurora boreale in Lapponia?
Nella Lapponia settentrionale le aurore fanno capolino in media ogni due notti da settembre a marzo. Anche nella Finlandia meridionale è possibile avvistare circa 10-20 aurore boreali l'anno. Guardate le stelle. Quando il cielo è limpido e pulito, le possibilità di osservare aurore sono buone.
Come vedere un aurora boreale?
La regola generale per scegliere il luogo in cui vedere l'aurora boreale, per avere più probabilità di assistere allo spettacolo, è che sia un posto dal clima freddo (ma non troppo) e secco. I posti migliori sono: le Isole Lofoten, in Norvegia Settentrionale, la Lapponia svedese, la Finlandia e l'Islanda.
