La terapia medica rappresenta la prima scelta per la cura dell'adenoma ipofisario in caso di prolattinomi, dove si utilizzano con successo farmaci dopaminergici (Cabergolina, Bromocriptina…). Negli altri adenomi la terapia medica è una terapia di seconda scelta.
