Si può giocare in 2,3 o 4 (in questo caso a coppie) distribuendo all'inizio rispettivamente 12, 10 e 9 carte a testa. Per aprire basta un tris anche con 1 o 2 jolly o pinelle e per chiudere è necessaria una canasta naturale ed una mista.
