MSN Messenger (also known colloquially simply as "MSN"), later rebranded as Windows Live Messenger, is discontinued cross-platform instant-messaging client developed by Microsoft. It connected to the Microsoft Messenger service and, in later versions, was compatible with Yahoo! Messenger and Facebook Messenger.
