Oltre alla rimozione dei fattori irritativi locali, la terapia prevede l'escissione chirurgica, eventualmente associata a levigatura radicolare. Se l'epulide ha un carattere particolarmente invasivo o in caso di recidive ripetute, può essere necessario estrarre i denti adiacenti alla lesione stessa.
