Quando fare HPV DNA Test?

L'esame può essere integrativo del Pap Test, che, nella popolazione sana, va effettuato ogni 3 anni. L'HPV Dna Test è un esame di screening che si esegue a partire dai 30 anni di età; se negativo, si effettua ogni 5 anni.

Cosa fare se positivi ad HPV?

Nei casi in cui anche il Pap-Test risultasse alterato occorre sottoporsi ad accertamenti di 2 livello: la colposcopia. Si tratta di un esame ambulatoriale che utilizza uno strumento che analizza il collo dell'utero e rende possibile evidenziare le alterazioni dei tessuti e, se necessario, effettuarne una biopsia.
