La cisti dell'epididimo è una sacca ripiena di liquido, di dimensioni variabili, che si forma a ridosso della testa dell'epididimo o di uno dei canali costituenti la rete testis del testicolo. In ogni caso, è una formazione sacculare anomala, a contenuto liquido, che si trova in stretto rapporto con l'epididimo.
Come si cura la epididimite?
In caso di epididimite aspecifica, il paziente viene generalmente trattato con farmaci antibiotici a largo spettro, quali cefalosporine di terza generazione e chinoloni. Per l'epididimite associata a malattie sessualmente trasmesse, viene indicata una cura farmacologica più mirata.

La cisti epididimale è una piccola formazione piena di liquido che si sviluppa lentamente nell'epididimo (una struttura a spirale dietro i testicoli, che aiuta a immagazzinare e trasportare gli spermatozoi).
